Ashgrove Clinic has been a part of the Ashgrove community for over 60 years. The clinic has a well-established patient base, with many 3rd and 4th generation patients.
Ashgrove Clinic is located in a modern and purpose-built practice with a procedure room, treatment room and 6 brand new consult rooms. It was a sad farewell to the old ‘Queenslander’ where there were so many memories made, but the new facilities have been a welcome change for patients and doctors alike.
Alumni Registrars
- Dr Leonnie Mitchell was the very first registrar at the clinic. She now works at the practice on a part-time basis.
- Dr Sarah Ryan, who joined Ashgrove Clinic as a registrar, now continues to work at Turbot Street Medical Centre.
- Dr Timothy Nelson joined our clinic as a RAAF registrar, he has since relocated to our sister practice down the coast - Broadbeach Medical Centre & Gold Coast Women's Health.
- Dr Anneke Merry joined our practice in 2023 and will fellow in early 2024.
- Dr Jonathan Johnson joined our practice in 2023 and will fellow in early 2024.

GP Supervisor: Dr Simon Murray and Dr Michael Naue
Dr Simon Murray
Dr Simon's special interests include men's health, skin cancer medicine, and travel medicine. He obtained a Master in Public Health in 1997, where he learned the importance of evidence-based medicine.
Dr Michael Naue
With over 30 years of experience in family medicine, Dr Michael Naue has special interests in skin and sports medicine. Dr Naue holds post graduate qualifications in obstetrics/gynaecology, sports medicine and general practice.
